The holidays are quickly approaching and before we know it 2010 will be here and we'll be ringing in the new year with family and friends. Around this time every year my mind wanders as I start thinking about party dresses and mainly "what look am I going for this year?" Last year I wore a charcoal sequin dress with a faux fur cropped jacket and black booties and I'm not a fan of repeating outfits so now I'm trying to figure out what to do about this new years eve.
Sequins are still so big on the trend scene but I'm thinking going a different direction. I'm actually loving the Nanette Lepore "Love Triangle" Dress. It's very romantic and flowy with black lace over a pale pink silk. It's a girly girl party dress that you'll be able to wear over and over again and fall in love with it every time you see it hanging in your closet.

With 3/4 length sleeves and a plunging v-neck line, this dress is different from every sequin dress that I've seen and in my opinion the best part is that the dress itself dresses up your outfit so you only need small accessories and you can just let the dress do all the work.
